I’ve tried it all, too!
It wasn’t until I reached my rock bottom of having tried it all, feeling incredibly hopeless, wondering where the heck I went wrong, what there was that I hadn’t tried yet, thinking that if I just keep searching & trying harder…
I get it. I really, really get it. I have been where you are. I’m all too familiar with the frustration and exhaustion.
I got to the point of desperately thinking that I would try any last thing that could help me - I had nothing more to lose at that point.

I thought it was silly, too. The nervous system, the root of all of these issues?
Our mind & body work in mysterious (but backed by science) ways.
No diet, no supplement, & no protocol… will work until your body feels safe.
But I do feel safe…
Sure, but your body isn’t.
This all sounded like a bunch of bolognas. Just more information I would learn, ‘try’, & soon prove to be wrong, just like everything else.
Let’s bring it back to the beginning.
For years, I suffered from these symptoms:

It was exhausting. Once one symptom would go away, another would appear. Then disappear. Then come back. It was a never-ending cycle of symptom after symptom, health issue after health issue. My whole life became trying to ‘fix’ these problems. To find the answers, implement what I found, and ‘heal’. And what helped temporarily, never lasted.
There was no talking me out of the mental roundabout, either.
It wasn’t until I really felt crazy and at my whit’s end, that I realized I needed to do something different. I had no clue what that would entail, but I could no longer go on how I was.
Then, the ‘ah-ha’ moment came.
I came across information that would majorly change the trajectory of my health. After learning that what I was doing was RECREATING & REINFORCING my problems… that is when everything shifted.
Knowing what I know now, it is my greatest honor & passion to help others like me & you to really, truly, deeply heal what is going on within.
Well, what are you getting at?
Your body, my body, all of our bodies, are directly reflecting what is going on in our mind, body, and nervous system.
What you are thinking, what you are feeling, what emotions are occurring… is constantly teaching your nervous system how to be.
What kind of fluffy nonsense is that?
That is what I first thought, too.
But let’s remember that I had tried everything up until that point. I was only ever getting worse, not better.
What I came to know, was that I was in a pattern of keeping myself sick because of how much I was hyper fixating on my symptoms- on the diagnosis’s I was given.
After a few months of initially experiencing my symptoms, and them not going away, I became afraid. I may not have known it or acknowledged it at the time, but I was really scared that these symptoms would get worse and never go away… and that is exactly what was happening.
They did get worse, they didn’t go away, they only multiplied.
I came to learn, that I was making my symptoms worse, because I was operating from a state of fear.
I was afraid of everything. I was afraid of what was going on in my body. I was afraid of what it was doing to my mental health. I was afraid the ailments would never go away. I was desperate for them to be gone. I tried and tried- I spent all of my time and energy obsessing, wondering, & thinking about how I was going to solve these issues.
The reality is… I got stuck in this cycle of telling my nervous system, that I was not safe as I was. I didn’t feel safe, I didn’t feel good, I didn’t get it… I just logically couldn’t comprehend it.
I couldn’t understand that my efforts to ‘help’ my health, to ‘help’ my body, were only making it sicker.
The math wasn’t mathing. This wasn’t lining up in my analytic mind.
Until, it did.
You’re Not Alone!
So many women with chronic health issues struggle with this same frustration. They’ve tried everything for their health, but until they heal their nervous system, they stay stuck.
If this is the first time you are hearing about this, let me repeat it - the nervous system is the root of it all. Our nervous system is the main driver in our life.
And, we have more control than we think in terms of how we interact with our own nervous system.
Healing is possible, and you have it in you to get better.
Your body is not broken. You just haven’t been given the missing puzzle pieces yet to help it.
I do things a bit differently here than how others do it.
Let’s put this into perspective:
Doctors, therapists, rehabilitation centers, nutritionists, specialists can all be great. Most everyone means well and provides the knowledge to the extent that they have it. I highly respect so many of them and will never regret the ones I met along my journey and who have been of help.
But the appointments to be seen can be days, weeks, and months apart. They are in high demand. There are waitlists to see these people. And once you do get in, often providers are jam packed in their days, quickly moving from patient to patient, having to remember to properly document the interactions before moving onto the next person.
Once it’s finally your turn, there isn’t enough time to give the docs the whole run-down on your life. It’s hard to paint a picture when there is only 20-40 minutes allotted to your visit – lots of things are typically missed. Often, the best questions aren’t even asked, by either the patient or provider.
And sometimes… the appointment you’ve been waiting 2 months to go to, is cancelled last minute. The provider is out, or, you’ve had something else come up in your life that takes precedence.
But, if and when you do see them, perhaps you leave the appointment & you implement what they tell you to do. You take the medication they prescribed. You start working out again, you start to change your diet or try ‘a diet’. You go to the store to pick out some supplements they recommend trying. You put your phone down by 8pm and aim to not touch it until morning time. You make therapy a priority and attend your biweekly monthly sessions. You do as you’re told, check the boxes, and follow the protocols.
But you’re still trying to manage it all on your own during the in-between- after one appointment, and before the next one.
While you’re waiting for your next appointment, you’ve either followed the doc’s advice to a T, or you’ve incorporated it here and there, deeming that to ‘be enough’.
Your symptoms seem to be getting better, so why not loosen up on the regimen?
Well… what you don’t realize is that:
Chronic Illness Changes Everything— and has changed everything for you, INCLUDING how YOUR own Body is responding to you.
Before your symptoms, before your diagnosis, life felt manageable. But after chronic illness or autoimmune symptoms set in? Your focus became all about protocols, appointments, and survival mode.
What has this taught your nervous system?
Let’s lay it out more. If you have 3 specialist appointments in one year, the other 362 in-between days you are assumingly ‘following the plan’ they gave you. But life happens, and you fall short. You beat yourself up over not being able to follow through and be more disciplined. Or things change, and the plan you have followed well doesn’t necessarily work anymore. But you chug through it anyway, just to check the box so that when your next appointment comes, you can tell them you did your ‘homework’.
But what is still happening here?
You are trying trying trying, doing doing doing, beating yourself up, judging yourself for falling short, criticizing yourself for your health 'shortcomings’.
You can’t bully yourself into healing!
& While eating cleaner, supplementing where need be, having a workout regimen, going to therapy, and getting more sleep can all be great things… they aren’t doing what you need them to do because your nervous system isn’t in a state to receive them.
I am not here to burst your bubble, to dismiss how you are feeling, to tell you that all your efforts have been wrong…
But I am here to tell you that living with chronic illness doesn’t have to be this defeating & lonely. Your body doesn’t have to feel like it’s working against you. And you don’t have to wait for “someday” to finally feel better.
